Speaker Submission Instructions
Proposals will be accepted through Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:59 pm CT. Presentations that focus on current issues, lessons learned, creative best practices, and participant interaction are strongly encouraged and will be given preference. Multiple submissions are welcome.

•A well-written proposal will enhance your submission. Check for spelling errors before submitting!

•It is critical that the title and description reflect the content of your proposed session. Attendees depend on the title and description to determine which sessions to attend.

•Individuals must complete the submission process in its entirety. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

•A separate form must be submitted for each presentation.

•Submission of a proposal does not guarantee selection for the 2026 ALERRT Conference.

•Presenters MUST be available to present on any day of the conference.

•All presenters are individually responsible for verifying the coordination of their travel with ALERRT.

•If selected, all presenters agree to the following:

o Deliver presentation(s) at dates and times assigned

o Permission to be photographed or digitally captured

o Permission for ALERRT to post slideshow presentation online following the conclusion of the conference (will make exceptions for sensitive presentations upon request)

o ALERRT reserves the right to edit program summaries of selected submissions for promotional materials

Session Style
Sessions are 2 hours in length. Sessions requiring more than 2 hours are evaluated on room availability.

Room Setup and Equipment
Rooms will be set up in classroom or theater style. Each room will consist of a laptop, podium, projector and screen. Please list any requests in the notes section of your proposal.

Speaker Selection and Notification
The ALERRT speaker selection committee will review all submissions and select presentations based on relevance, timeliness of content, and instructor qualifications. All proposal submitters will be notified of their selection status by June 15, 2026. Selected presenters will be notified of their presentation date and time by July 15, 2026.

Benefits of Presenting
