Does payment need to be submitted upon registration?
No. Payment is not required to register for the conference. We understand payment can be delayed by employer pay periods, so payments can be made at any time leading up to conference, or at in person check in.
The only exception is for additional certificate training classes. These are first pay - first priority. If you sign up for one of these classes with the intent to attend, but cannot submit payment immediately, please let us know when payment is expected to be submitted to ensure your spot by emailing help@alerrt.org.

Where is my invoice?
After you complete the registration process, you will be directed to an invoice. Payment can either be made directly from this window or you can download the invoice for your records.
An email confirmation will also be sent to whomever completed the registration with a PDF attached copy.
Conference invoices can be viewed at any time by logging into your ALERRT.org account and from the Student Dashboard > Invoices. Please note, only the person who completed the registration process will have access to the invoice and payment link.

I need a copy of your W9.
You can find a link to our W9 form on the Registration page under the payment info.

Are meals included?
Meals are not included in the price of the conference. Attendees are responsible for their own meals.

Do we have to stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Marcos Hotel Conference Center?
No. Attendees are responsible for their lodging accommodations and are welcome to stay wherever they prefer.

What is included in the basic conference price?
The ALERRT Conference price ($250 for early bird and $350 normally), includes access to the vendor show, general assembly, all breakouts, and evening activities.

Can I add a training class after I've already registered?
Yes, we can make edits to your registration and add you to any class you’d like, as long as there is availability. Email help@alerrt.org for assistance.

I need to cancel my registration and get a refund.
There will be no refunds for paid registrations, nor will there be credit given for future conferences. In lieu of refunds, swaps may be made for attendees

Can I bring my significant other / friend / etc?
While only paid and registered attendees will be allowed in the classes and sessions, guests are welcome to accompany attendees into the vendor show or evening events. They can pick up a Visitor badge at the registration desk.

Is there transporation to the off-site training classes?
Yes, this year ALERRT will be providing a shuttle from the hotel to the offsite locations. The shuttles will drop students off and pick them up to return to the conference center.
If a student has two classes at different locations (for example, an AM course at the ALERRT Range and a PM course at the ACC Training Center), they will be responsible for getting from the AM course to the PM course. The shuttle will not be going in between different off-site locations.
Students do not have to ride the shuttle. They are welcome to take their own transportation.
