Steven Hamilton

Captain; Fort Jackson Directorate of Emergency Services

Steven Hamilton has been a member of the fire service since 1996 and currently serves as a lieutenant with the Fort Jackson (SC) Fire Department and as a senior reserve deputy with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in Columbia, SC. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and previously served in volunteer departments in Texas and New York. Hamilton is a certified Fire Officer III, Instructor II, and NREMT-B, an EMT-B instructor for his jurisdiction, and a former South Carolina Fire Academy adjunct instructor.
