Maggie Hickey

Maggie Hickey is a registered nurse with twelve years of healthcare experience. She spent eleven of those years working in a busy Emergency Department. While in the ED she achieved various certifications and sat on various committees including emergency preparedness and was a co-founder of the Hospital Response Task Force. This year she was recently promoted to Assistant Director in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington Virginia. Although not in the ED she continues to work with the hospital response task force and teach within the community. Maggie Hickey’s father spent over twenty years working for the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC so it’s no wonder she enjoys the adrenaline rush of being a nurse and is committed to bridging the gap between hospitals and public safety. In her free time Maggie enjoys Crossfit, lifting, and going to country concerts.
