Kevin Clement is a Homeland Security and Emergency Management professional at the University of Houston where he serves as Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships. He was the Project Lead in development of a Unified Regional Response to a Complex Coordinated Attack for the South East Texas. Mr. Clement has significant expertise in strategic and operational planning, anti-terrorism, border security operations, critical infrastructure security and resilience, and continuity of operations.
A retired Army officer with over 23 years of active service, Mr. Clement has worked extensively in the areas of homeland security, emergency management, operations and planning, organizational management, and policy development. He was a member of the first Department of Defense Anti-Terrorism Task Force.
Kevin Clement graduated from the U.S. Military Academy and has Masters degrees in National Security and Strategic Studies (U.S. Naval War College) and International Relations (Salve Regina).
