Director of Research, ALERRT
Dr. Hunter Martaindale is ALERRT’s Director of Research. Hunter is responsible for maintaining ALERRT’s ongoing research agenda. This includes research on law enforcement performance, stress response, decision-making, community perceptions of force, and active shooter events. Hunter has published multiple reports, peer-reviewed articles, and a book on active shooter events and law enforcement tactics. Additionally, he presents findings from his research across the nation.
