Frank has over 22 years of tactical & investigative experience both domestically and abroad. Frank is a former Marine Corps Infantry Non-Commissioned Officer and has 18 years in Law Enforcement, the majority of those years in special operations. As an Officer, he has worked gang enforcement, narcotics and career criminal apprehension. Frank promoted to Detective in 2011 and worked major narcotics, criminal intelligence and counter terrorism investigation assignments, including 5 years as a federally sworn Task Force Officer with DEA and FBI Task forces. Frank currently holds the rank of Sergeant and has worked assignments as a Patrol Field Supervisor & Watch Commander. Frank has been a member of the department’s Special Weapons And Tactics team for 14 years, and has held assignments on the entry team, as a sniper, Assistant Team Leader and the last 10 years as a Tactical Team Leader. Frank is an FBI certified firearms instructor, Less Lethal Weapons Instructor, Close Quarters Battle Instructor, Active Shooter Response Instructor and ALERRT Level 1 Instructor. Frank has taught and developed Law Enforcement advanced training courses including Weapons employment, Rapid response/active shooter tactics, structure assessment and clearing, high-risk search warrants, vehicle assault tactics, Fire/LE rescue task force and high-risk dignitary protection. Frank has also instructed civilian response to active attack (Run, Hide, Fight) courses and is a member of the Ventura County Law Enforcement Rapid Response working group.
