Evelyn Edwards

Evelyn Edwards has been a firefighter/paramedic with the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department in Virginia for the past 25 years. She was promoted to Lieutenant in 2006 and assigned to the Training Academy in the EMS Training Division. While in EMS Training, she began instructing both department personnel and outside agencies on TECC. Lieutenant Edwards was invited to be a member of the Fairfax County Tactical Emergency Casualty Care Working Group, a combined group of law enforcement and fire personnel instructors. She is an NREMT TCCC and PHTLS Instructor and a Fairfax County PAC OPS Instructor. Lt. Edwards represents Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department on the Northern Virginia Emergency Response System’s (NVERS) TECC equipment group and is currently assigned to the Professional Development Section at the Training Academy developing leaderships skills for all ranks of fire department personnel. Lieutenant Edwards is married to Captain Kevin Edwards (Fairfax Co. FRD) and has two children.
