Craig Uchimura is a Battalion Chief with the Honolulu Fire Department with over 25 years of experience. As the Program Manager for the Department’s Active Threat Program, Craig continues to coordinate training and response guidelines with the Honolulu Police Department utilizing ALERRT concepts. He is currently working with HPD to develop tactics to incorporate the RTF concepts to deploy a BearCat with firefighting capabilities as well as deploying hose lines with security to mitigate ‘fire as a weapon’ incidents. Craig is an instructor for Civilian Response to Casualty Care (CRCC) and Active Attack Integrated Response (AAIR).
